Jerusalem Winery
The Legacy of the Holy City
"From the walls of Jerusalem to the vineyards of the Judean Mountains, each bottle is a testament to millennia of viticultural culture perfected by contemporary technique."
Between History and the Future
Originally established in the 19th century and consolidated in 1906, Jerusalem Winery has witnessed the evolution of Israeli wine. Under the direction of renowned Canadian winemaker Sam Soroka, the winery has transformed local production into a world-class standard.
Grapes come from high-altitude vineyards in the Judean Mountains, a wine region recognized by Wines of Israel for its calcareous soil and Mediterranean climate. This environment allows varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot to develop a complexity that critics from The Wine Advocate have consistently highlighted.
