1. Vision and High-Altitude Terroir
Founded by Eli Ben-Zaken in the late 1980s, Domaine du Castel was born from a dream: to produce wines in Israel that could compete with French Grand Crus. Located in Yad Hashmona, the winery benefits from a unique microclimate at 700 meters above sea level.
The chalky and stony soil of the Judean Hills forces the roots of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot to dig deep in search of minerals. Castel Grand Vin
A classic Bordeaux blend (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot) aged in new French oak barrels for 16 to 20 months. It unfurls layers of ripe black fruit, cassis, fine spices, and cedar on a velvety backdrop.

Blanc du Castel ("C")
