This policy ensures a transparent and secure shopping experience for all our customers.

1. Coverage and Shipping Costs

At La Cava.shop, our priority is to bring the art of wine to every corner of Mexico easily and without unnecessary complications.

  • Shipping Cost: We offer a flat SHIPPING fee of $130 MXN on absolutely all orders within the Mexican Republic, with no minimum purchase required.

  • Coverage: We ship to almost the entire national territory.

2. Processing and Delivery Times

We strive to process your order efficiently so you can enjoy your wines as soon as possible.

A. Processing Time (Order Preparation)

  • All orders are processed and prepared for shipment within 24 to 48 business hours following payment confirmation.

  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

B. Transit Time (Estimated Delivery) Transit time is the period it takes for the courier to deliver the order once it has left our warehouse.

  • Major Cities: Delivery is estimated between 2 to 4 business days.

  • Extended or Remote Areas: Delivery may take between 4 to 10 business days.

  • Note on our shipments: To guarantee quality, all our wines are shipped in specialized packaging designed to protect them against impacts and temperature variations.

3. Order Tracking and Receipt

A. Notification and Tracking Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email notification with a tracking number and a direct link to the courier's platform so you can track your package in real-time.

B. Delivery Requirements (Age Verification) Because we sell alcoholic beverages:

  • It is mandatory for the person receiving the order to be over 18 years old.

  • A valid official ID (INE or Passport) must be presented if requested by the courier staff to verify age.

  • If age cannot be verified or no adult is present, the package cannot be delivered, and a second attempt will be scheduled.

C. Failed Shipments If after three delivery attempts the package cannot be delivered (due to absence, incorrect address, or failure to verify age), the package will be returned to our warehouse. In this case, we will contact you to coordinate a new shipment, which may incur an additional charge to be covered by the customer.

4. Damages and Defects

In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged (broken bottle, sunken cork, etc.) due to transit:

  1. Notify us immediately by email at ventas@lacava.shop within 24 hours of receipt.

  2. Attach clear photographs of the packaging and the damaged product.

  3. Once verified, La Cava.shop commits to replacing the product at no additional cost to you.
