Its name recalls Heraclio Alfaro, a pioneering aviator, because the winery was built on an old aviation hangar on Finca El Estarijo, a 110-hectare estate with vineyards more than 40 years old.
The soils are loamy, with plenty of rounded stones, and the continental climate of the Ebro valley favors slow ripening. The result is reds with fresh fruit, round tannins and good acidity.
