Orujo
The Soul of the Galician Vine
"Intensity, heritage, and the mystical warmth of northwestern Spain. A pure distillation of the Atlantic spirit in every drop."
Mastery in the Copper Still
Orujo is the most honest expression of the vineyard. Originating from Galicia, it is protected by the Regulatory Council of Galicia. Unlike brandy, which is distilled wine, Orujo is obtained by distilling the pomace (skins and seeds) of noble grapes like Albariño and Godello.
The slow distillation in traditional copper stills separates the impurities to concentrate the essential oils, creating a spirit that balances rustic power with sophisticated aromatic profiles, as recognized by the OIV.
Styles & Rituals
- White Orujo (Pure Spirit) Notes of ripe stone fruit and botanical freshness. It is the crystalline base for the legendary Queimada ritual.
- Herbal Liqueur (Licor de Hierbas) A maceration of up to 30 selected botanicals. Our selection focuses on PGI-certified labels that ensure natural ingredients and authentic tradition.
- Orujo Cream The contemporary side of distillation. Silky notes of vanilla and cocoa that soften the alcohol, perfect for modern mixology or as a refined digestive.
