Il Borro is an estate of about 1,100 hectares in the Valdarno di Sopra, in the province of Arezzo, Tuscany, with a village of ancient origins. In 1993 it was acquired by Ferruccio Ferragamo, and today it is run by his children Salvatore (wine and hospitality) and Vittoria (sustainability). The estate is certified organic and makes all of its wines from organically grown grapes, with about 85 hectares of vineyard and an underground cellar of about 300 meters.

The house's emblematic red is a blend based on Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. You will find it in Il Borro 2020 and in magnum format with the Il Borro Magnum 2019, to share or to cellar. It goes well with premium grilled cuts, game and aged cheeses.
Petruna Amphora: Sangiovese in Clay
The Petruna Amphora 2020 is a single-vineyard 100% Sangiovese that ferments and rests on its skins for about 12 months in sealed amphorae, without the flavor of oak. The result is a fresh wine with red fruit, citrus and fine texture, among the most expressive of the house.
Nitrito, Alessandro dal Borro and Pian di Nova
The Nitrito 2018 is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from a vineyard worked with horses. The Alessandro dal Borro Magnum 2018 is a 100% Syrah. The Pian di Nova 2021 combines Syrah with Sangiovese, and is a more approachable, fruity red.
Lamelle: the House White
The Lamelle 2024 is a Chardonnay from organic grapes, vinified in stainless steel, fresh and mineral, ideal for fish, seafood and poultry. Its name alludes to the fossilized seashells in the vineyard soil. See more white wines.
