01. The Unique "Rañas" Terroir
Located in Retuerta del Bullaque, under the direct influence of Cabañeros National Park, Pago de Vallegarcía represents a milestone in modern viticulture. Its 31 hectares of proprietary vineyards rest on rañas soils, a geological deposit of quartzite pebbles and acidic clays that impart a vibrant minerality to the wines within our selection of Spanish wines.
As a prominent member of the Grandes Pagos de España association, the winery champions the concept of a single estate, where the continental climate and an altitude of 850 meters allow for slow, balanced ripening of noble varieties such as Petit Verdot and Viognier.
