ALMA ASSEMBLAGE
MAGNUM EXTRA BRUT
BELLAVISTA WINERY • FRANCIACORTA • ITALY
"Shared greatness: Bellavista's perfect balance in its noblest and most evolving format."
The Connoisseur's Format
Alma Assemblage No. 1 Magnum is the ultimate expression of hospitality from the **Bellavista** winery. In this 1.5-liter format, the base wine —composed of more than 100 selections from their own vineyards— finds the ideal space to develop its complexity. After prolonged aging on lees, the Magnum format highlights the citrus verticality and creaminess of the reserve wines aged in barrels, offering a broader and deeper sensory experience than the standard bottle.

2. Sommelier's Notes
Appearance: Pale gold with green reflections. In the Magnum, the bead of bubbles is noticeably finer, slower, and more persistent.
Nose: Great aromatic richness. Notes of dried white flowers, conference pear, freshly baked brioche, and a very pure chalky minerality. The format highlights tertiary notes of vanilla and toasted almond.
Palate: Broad and enveloping entry. The mousse is extremely silky. It presents a masterful balance between the freshness of Chardonnay and the structure of Pinot Nero, with a saline and persistent finish.

4. Pairing and Service for Grand Events
Gastronomy: Due to its volume and complexity, it is the perfect companion for extended dinners. It pairs with fish tarts, steamed lobster, white truffle risotto, or delicate white meats like vitello tonnato. It is also sublime with aged cheeses such as a 36-month Parmigiano Reggiano.
Service: Serve at **8°C**. For the Magnum format, it is recommended to chill the bottle well in advance (at least 4 hours in an ice bucket) to ensure a consistent internal temperature.
Technical Sheet and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How many glasses does a Magnum bottle yield?
Approximately 12 to 14 glasses, depending on the size of the flute. It is ideal for groups of 6 to 8 people.
Why is the price more than double that of a standard bottle?
The cost reflects not only twice the wine but also the use of more expensive reinforced bottles, larger special corks, and, above all, longer aging in the winery before release to the market.
Is it suitable for cellaring?
Yes, in fact, the Magnum is the best format for cellaring. This Alma can be kept in perfect condition for the next 10 years in a suitable cellar.
