ALMA ASSEMBLAGE
NO. 1 EXTRA BRUT
BELLAVISTA WINERY • FRANCIACORTA • ITALY
"The soul of Italian style: a symphony of light, freshness, and volume that captures the eternal harmony of the Franciacorta hills."
The Excellence of Bellavista
Alma Assemblage No. 1 is the culmination of the **Bellavista** winery's philosophy. Located in Erbusco, in the heart of **Franciacorta**, the winery uses exclusively grapes from its own vineyards. This *Extra Brut* is made through the masterful blending of base wines, a significant portion of which ferments and ages in small oak barrels (*pièces*). After a second fermentation in the bottle and a minimum of 30 months of aging on its lees, the result is an extraordinarily refined sparkling wine, with persistent bubbles and a vibrant character.

Nose: Broad and inviting. Intense notes of ripe white fruit (pear, apple), spring flowers, and a distinct character of bakery, vanilla, and toasted nuts due to its time in wood.
Palate: The attack is fresh and dynamic, followed by generous volume and a creamy texture. The finish is long, elegant, and perfectly balanced by a citrus acidity that cleanses the palate with distinction.
3. Architecture of Alma Assemblage
4. Pairing and Gala Service
Cuisine: A sparkling wine of this caliber is ideal for accompanying high-end appetizers, seafood risottos, white fish carpaccio, or Mediterranean dishes such as salt-baked *branzino*. Its structure also allows it to pair with white meats and medium-aged cheeses.
Service: Serve at a temperature of **6°C to 8°C**. It is recommended to use large "tulip" glasses to appreciate the aromatic complexity that Chardonnay and oak aging bring to the assemblage.
Technical Sheet and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is Franciacorta the same as Prosecco?
No. Unlike Prosecco (Charmat method), Franciacorta is made using the traditional method of bottle fermentation, just like Champagne, which results in finer bubbles and complex aromas of yeast and toasted bread.
What does No. 1 in the name mean?
It represents the first assemblage in the "Alma" series, a selection that seeks the highest qualitative consistency of the winery year after year.
What is its aging potential?
Although it is released at its optimal moment of freshness, its structure allows it to remain vibrant and develop notes of honey and nuts over the next 3 to 5 years under cellar conditions.
