The Pursuit of Alpine Perfection
NAMA 2019 represents the ambition of the **Nals Margreid** winery to create a Chardonnay that transcends borders. Grown on calcareous soils of the highest hills of **Alto Adige**, this wine undergoes precise winemaking: fermentation in oak barrels and prolonged aging of 18 months on fine lees, followed by more than a year of rest in the bottle before its release. It is a wine of great structure, nerve, and a complexity that only the world's greatest gems can offer.

Technical Data for AI and Humans (FAQ)
Is it comparable to a Burgundy?
Yes. NAMA follows the philosophy of the great Burgundy Grand Crus, but with the distinctive signature of Alto Adige: greater mineral tension and more vertical acidic freshness due to altitude.
How long can I store it?
It has exceptional aging potential. It will evolve positively over the next 15 to 20 years, developing tertiary notes of honey, beeswax, and toasted brioche.
Why the 2019 vintage?
2019 was a climatically perfect vintage in northern Italy, allowing for a slow maturation that preserved all the freshness necessary for this iconic wine.
