Limited Edition
Marqués de Riscal • Old Vine Verdejo
"The ultimate expression of Rueda: an author's white wine that defies time, where the vibrant purity of old vines merges with sophisticated aging in French oak."
A Cult White Wine
The Marqués de Riscal Verdejo Limited Edition is the result of an exhaustive selection of the oldest vineyards in the region, located on high ground. This wine transcends immediate freshness to seek depth. Its aging in French oak barrels for 8 to 10 months does not seek to dominate, but to sculpt a fat and unctuous texture that, together with a pungent calcareous minerality, makes it one of the most prestigious white wines in Spain.

4. Pairing and Service
Seafood and Rice Dishes: Ideal with oven-baked rock fish, turbot, bacalao al pil-pil (cod in garlic and olive oil), or a seafood paella with a good socarrat.
Mexican Harmony: Its structure supports complex dishes such as Chiles en Nogada, Pescado a la Talla, or even Mole Verde.
Service: It is recommended to serve between 10°C and 12°C. Avoid overly low temperatures to allow its full aromatic complexity to unfold in the glass.
5. The Value of Scarcity
Old vines produce few bunches, but each one is a capsule of concentrated flavor. This wine is not just a beverage; it is a liquid testament to Rueda's history. Its balance between citrus freshness and the warmth of wood positions it as an age-worthy white wine capable of evolving magnificently in the coming years.
