Heroic Viticulture, Superior Distinction, and the Finesse of Asolo's Terroir

The Andreola Akelum Asolo Prosecco Superior Brut Sparkling White Wine - Wine from Italy represents the qualitative pinnacle and refinement of the Italian bubble. Masterfully produced by the renowned Andreola winery, an absolute benchmark in mountain viticulture, this exceptional sparkling wine originates specifically from the vertical and sunny vineyards of Asolo, in the prestigious Veneto region, proudly bearing the highest DOCG quality distinction. It is strictly defined as a wine with a strictly dry (Brut) profile, primarily made with the indigenous Glera grape. Its innate elegance lies in a perfect balance between the crisp freshness of white fruit and the subtle mineral salinity provided by the hillside soils, delivering an extremely fine, integrated, and persistent bubble.

Nose: A sophisticated, clean, and remarkably intense bouquet. It displays clean aromas of crisp green apple, white pear, and white peach, intertwined with elegant floral notes of wisteria, acacia, and orange blossom. Finally, a clear, elegant, and complex mineral undertone reminiscent of limestone is perceived.

Palate: A regal entry, extremely fresh and with a pleasantly creamy and velvety texture on the palate. It expresses itself as strictly dry, showcasing a vibrant citrus acidity that is masterfully balanced with its subtle mineral salinity. It has a structured and harmonious body, concluding in a long, clean, dry finish with a highly aristocratic fruity and mineral aftertaste.

frequently asked questions (faqs)

What is the specific origin and winery of this sparkling white wine?

This distinguished sparkling wine is produced by the prestigious and multi-award-winning Andreola winery. Its specific origin comes strictly from the exclusive hills of Asolo, protected under the demanding Controlled and Guaranteed Denomination of Origin (Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG), in the Veneto region, Italy.

Is this wine dry, semi-dry, or sweet?

Andreola Akelum is a strictly dry wine. Classified as 'Brut', its residual sugar is minimal, giving it an extremely elegant, fresh, clean character with remarkable gastronomic aptitude to accompany structured meals.

What distinguishes a Prosecco Superiore DOCG from a common Prosecco?

The 'Superiore DOCG' distinction guarantees that the grapes come exclusively from the historical and most qualitative hills of the region, necessarily hand-harvested due to the slopes. Yield regulations are much stricter, resulting in a wine with greater complexity, finesse in the bubble, and minerality.

What is the recommended aging time for this sparkling wine?

This Prosecco Superiore is designed to express the vitality, freshness, and mineral purity of the Glera grape in its youth. It is recommended to consume it preferably within 1 to 2 years from purchase, ensuring the bottle is kept in a cool place, at a constant temperature, and protected from direct light.
