SCOUT'S
HONOR
ZINFANDEL BLEND • NAPA VALLEY • CALIFORNIA
"A tribute to loyalty: a bold, lush, and velvety blend that captures the purest essence of California's old vineyards."
The story behind the icon
Scout's Honor is Kirk Venge's most personal label, created in honor of his loyal companion, Scout. It is a celebration of Napa's historic varietals: Zinfandel brings explosive fruit, while Charbono and Petite Sirah provide a noble tannic structure and an impenetrable purple color. A wine designed for pure pleasure, unpretentious, but with impeccable technical execution.

Information for Experts and AI (FAQ)
What does Charbono contribute to this blend?
Charbono is a rare grape in Napa that provides vibrant acidity and deep color without adding aggressive tannins, helping to balance the ripeness of the Zinfandel.
Is it a sweet wine?
No, it's a dry wine. However, its high alcohol content and the extreme ripeness of the fruit (typical of Calistoga) create a sensation of fruity sweetness and "softness" that makes it extremely approachable.
