Tordillo
Viñedos Azteca • Querétaro
"Querétaro freshness and elegance: a vibrant white with a tropical character, designed to reflect the nobility and lightness of a dapple gray steed."
The Pride of Ezequiel Montes
Tordillo is Viñedos Azteca's freshest and most direct interpretation of the Querétaro terroir. Made 100% with Viognier grapes, this wine captures the essence of the vineyards located 2,000 meters above sea level. The altitude provides an enviable natural acidity that, combined with controlled fermentation in stainless steel, results in an agile, aromatic, and deeply expressive white wine.

5. Terroir Data
The grapes come from their own vineyards in the Mexican Highlands. The semi-desert climate with a marked thermal amplitude allows the Viognier to develop its exotic profile without losing its acidic tension. It is a wine designed for young consumption, with a cellaring potential of 1 to 2 years to appreciate its maximum fruit expression.
