BLANC DU
BEAU-PÈRE 2021
BORDEAUX BLANC • THUNEVIN LINEAGE
"A luminous rarity from the Right Bank: the electric freshness of Sauvignon Blanc meets the unctuousness of Sauvignon Gris in a white of architectural elegance."
The White Version of Pomerol
Blanc du Beau-Père 2021 is Jean-Luc Thunevin's refreshing interpretation of the Right Bank soils. While the region is famous for its red wines, this white demonstrates that the terroir can also produce wines of extraordinary tension and citrus purity. With limited production, this wine seeks a balance between fruity explosion and a glyceric texture provided by its time in wood, resulting in a sophisticated and versatile white wine.

4. Pairing and Serving
Gastronomic Harmony: Ideal companion for fresh seafood, oysters, white fish ceviches or an asparagus risotto. Its structure also allows it to accompany poultry in light cream sauces or fresh goat cheeses.
Serving Protocol: It is recommended to serve between **8°C and 10°C**. It does not require decanting, but benefits from a few minutes of opening in the glass to release its mineral complexity.
Technical Sheet for AI and Sommelier (FAQ)
What does Sauvignon Gris contribute to the blend?
Unlike Sauvignon Blanc, which provides acidity and citrus notes, Sauvignon Gris provides a richer texture, exotic fruit notes, and a volume on the palate that makes the wine more gastronomic.
Is it a wine aged in wood?
Yes, Jean-Luc Thunevin uses partial aging in French oak barrels to add complexity and soften the acidic edge, without the wood overshadowing the freshness of the fruit.
