Barón de Chirel
Rioja Alavesa • Signature Reserva
"The precursor of modernity: a masterpiece born from century-old vines that redefines the balance between fruit power and aristocratic elegance."
The Standard of Excellence
Barón de Chirel emerged in 1986 as an experimental project by **Marqués de Riscal**, marking the beginning of the "High Expression" wines era. Made exclusively in exceptional vintages, its soul resides in vineyards in Elciego, with vines between 80 and 110 years old. It is a limited production wine where each vine yields barely one kilogram of grapes, ensuring a concentration and finesse that only time and the Alavesa terroir can bestow.
