SARDÓN
BY QUINTA SARDONIA
CASTILLA Y LEÓN • SPAIN
"Vibrant, earthy, and authentic: the untamed reflection of the estates overlooking the Duero."
The Expression of the Duero Valley
Sardón is the youngest and boldest wine from Quinta Sardonia. Made with a careful selection of grapes from different estates in the Duero Valley, this wine seeks freshness over power. The winemaking team, faithful to biodynamic principles, performs precise aging in French oak barrels that have already contained great wines, ensuring that the wood serves as a framework and never the protagonist. It is a red wine with contagious energy, ideal for those seeking elegance and balance in a region of sun and strength.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)
Is it a wine with aging potential?
Although Sardón is designed to be enjoyed for its immediate freshness, its excellent structure allows it to evolve well in the bottle for the next 4 to 6 years.
Why is it not D.O. Ribera del Duero?
By including grapes from various plots located just on the border of the appellation and seeking a freer, more biodynamic winemaking style, it is marketed as V.T. (Vino de la Tierra) of Castilla y León to maintain the author's vision.
Does it need aeration?
It is not strictly necessary, but it will benefit from 15-20 minutes of aeration for the fruit to fully express itself from the first glass.
