Protos Crianza is not just a wine, it is the history of the Ribera del Duero DO. Made exclusively from Tinta del País grapes from vineyards more than 25 years old, this wine represents the masterful balance of Bodegas Protos. Its year of aging in fine woods gives it an overwhelming personality in which black fruit and the toasty notes of the barrel live in perfect harmony. It is the wine that defined the quality standard in Peñafiel and that today continues to win over the most demanding palates in the world.

Appearance: Intense cherry-red color with garnet glints. Deep, clean and very bright.
Nose: High aromatic intensity. Complex notes of ripe black fruit combined with sweet spices (vanilla, clove), mineral touches and pleasant smoky notes from the fine oak.
Palate: Powerful, structured entry. Ripe, enveloping tannins that fill the palate. Long, persistent finish with an aftertaste where notes of cocoa and black fruit reappear.
