MONÇÃO E MELGAÇO • QUINTA RABIANA • ALVARINHO RESERVA

"The perfect balance between the strength of the Atlantic and the warmth of oak: a signature white wine with an eternal soul."

🇵🇹 ORIGIN: MONÇÃO E MELGAÇO, PORTUGAL | 🍷 100% ALVARINHO (OAKED) | 🏷️ WINERY: QUINTA RABIANA

The Evolution of Alvarinho at Quinta Rabiana

The Rabiana Oaked Branco 2022 is a statement of intent from Quinta Rabiana. By selecting the best Alvarinho grapes from their vineyards in Monção e Melgaço, the winemaker seeks to elevate the varietal through a masterful integration with wood. This is not a conventional white; it is a wine with volume, body, and an aromatic complexity that challenges the senses, while maintaining the vibrant and mineral freshness that only the granitic soils of Minho can provide.

Why is Monção e Melgaço special for this wine?

It is the birthplace of the best Alvarinho in the world. The protected microclimate and granitic soils allow the grape to reach perfect maturity and concentration for barrel aging.
