"The poetic and aristocratic sweetness of Piedmont. A world-renowned sparkling wine, fragrant and seductive, designed to celebrate life with the aromatic subtlety of the Moscato grape."

🇮🇹 ORIGIN: ASTI, PIEDMONT, ITALY | 🍷 STYLE: ASTI SPUMANTE DOCG, SWEET, FRAGRANT AND LIGHT | 🏷️ WINERY: DEZZANI

Celestial Sweetness, Centuries-Old Tradition, and the Perfume of Moscato Bianco

The Dezzani Asti Spumante Sparkling White Wine - Wine from Italy is a refined and captivating jewel of Piedmontese viticulture. Rigorously crafted by the legendary Dezzani winery, this renowned sparkling wine has its specific origin in the Asti hills, in the famous Piedmont region, Italy, bearing the highest quality category DOCG. It is precisely defined as a sweet and markedly aromatic wine. Fermentation is meticulously halted by cold to retain the natural sugars and rich fruitiness of the Moscato Bianco grape. The result is a refined sparkling wine with low alcohol content and vibrant acidity that majestically balances the sweetness, displaying an unrivaled bouquet of white flowers and fresh fruits.

2. Luxury Tasting Notes

Appearance: It boasts a beautiful pale straw yellow color of great brightness and vivacity with attractive golden reflections. It develops a fine, persistent and continuous perlage that forms a delicate and inviting crown of foam on the surface.

Nose: Extraordinarily fragrant, elegant and seductive. It unfurls exuberant floral notes of orange blossom, jasmine and wisteria, followed by an intense fruitiness reminiscent of ripe Muscat grape, white peach, apricot and sweet pear, rounded off by a subtle and sophisticated background of honey and fresh sage.

Palate: Fine, light and exquisitely creamy on the palate thanks to the fineness of its bubbles. It expresses itself with a wonderfully pleasant sweet and silky clarity, immediately accompanied by a citrusy and clean acidity that completely refreshes the mouth, preventing any cloying sensation. The finish is subtle, fruity, very lively and persistent.

4. Recommended Moments and Pairing

Precision Gourmet Pairing: Its sweet aromatic profile and sparkling bubbles make it the undisputed king of fine pastry. It is the quintessential pairing for traditional Italian desserts such as Panettone, Tiramisu, vanilla Panna Cotta or almond cakes. It harmonizes celestially with fresh fruit tarts (apple, peach, strawberries), millefeuille, fine cookies and creamy ice creams. On the savory side, it makes a sublime and daring combination when accompanying intense blue cheeses (Gorgonzola, Roquefort) or subtly spicy appetizers from Asian cuisine.

Suggested Moments:

  • Special Celebration: An emblematic bottle for dessert time or the final toast at grand banquets, weddings, anniversaries and New Year's Eve parties, ending on a high note.
  • Romantic Dinner: Adds a playful, flirty and extremely seductive nuance to the evening. It's fantastic for accompanying strawberries with chocolate, sweet treats and welcome canapés for two.
  • Summer: Due to its low alcohol content and sparkling freshness, served well chilled it is an extremely revitalizing delight to enjoy during sunny afternoons on terraces or in gardens.

frequently asked questions (FAQs)

What is the specific origin and winery of this sparkling white wine?

This distinguished spumante is produced by the prestigious and historic Dezzani winery. Its specific origin rigorously comes from the renowned delimited area of Asti, protected by the DOCG appellation in the emblematic Piedmont region, Italy.

Is this wine dry, semi-dry or sweet?

Dezzani Asti Spumante is a strictly sweet wine. It is characterized by preserving the natural and fruity sugars of the Moscato grape thanks to its cold-controlled production method, offering a luscious and round experience on the palate.

Why does it have a lower alcohol percentage than other sparkling wines?

Due to the traditional Asti method, fermentation is intentionally stopped early. This means that a large part of the grape's sugar is not converted into alcohol, resulting in a light wine (around 7% Vol.) focused purely on enhancing the primary aromas of the vineyard.

How long can I store this Asti Spumante in my cellar?

Like most aromatic sparkling wines based on Glera or Moscato grapes, it is designed to be consumed in its youth, which is when it displays its maximum floral and fruity freshness. It is advisable to enjoy it within 1 to 2 years of purchase, storing it in a cool, dark place.
