🇮🇹 ORIGIN: BASSANO DEL GRAPPA, VENETO, ITALY | 🍷 STYLE: ROSSO VERMOUTH, SWEET, HERBAL & SPICY | 🏷️ WINERY: POLI DISTILLERIE

Signature Infusion, Merlot Wine Base and the Splendor of the Venetian Aperitif

Gran Bassano Red Vermouth is a magnificent example of how the Italian aperitif tradition is elevated through prestigious artisanal distillation. Designed by the legendary Poli Distillerie, this vermouth has its specific origin in Bassano del Grappa, in the heart of the Veneto region, Italy. It is categorically classified as a distinctly sweet aromatic wine, whose original and innovative base structured on Merlot red wine gives it a full body and a velvety fruitiness. Its sophisticated character is completed by a secret infusion of more than 20 aromatic plants, roots, and fine local spices, achieving a sublime balance between balsamic notes, spicy warmth, and a pleasant, finely medicinal bitter finish.

Appearance: Exhibits a beautiful deep ruby red color with intense and brilliant garnet hues. Shows great density when gently swirled in the aromatic glass.

Palate: Broad, sumptuous, and pleasantly sweet entry due to the roundness of Merlot. As it progresses, a captivating balsamic and bitter trail opens up, provided by the botanical roots, perfectly balancing the original sweetness. frequently asked questions (FAQs)

What is the specific origin and winery of this distillate?

This distinguished red vermouth is masterfully produced by the iconic Poli Distillerie. Its specific origin is strictly located in the historic town of Bassano del Grappa, in the Veneto region, Italy.

Is this liqueur dry, semi-dry, or sweet?

Gran Bassano Rosso Vermouth is a fortified wine with a distinctly sweet profile. Its unctuousness and sweetness on the palate are impeccably integrated with the spicy character and the classic balsamic bitter finish.

What distinguishes this vermouth from other traditional red vermouths?

The main and most noble difference lies in the fact that it is made using Veneto Merlot red wine as a base, instead of the neutral white wines commonly used in the industry, giving it an unparalleled fruitiness and velvety structure.

How long does vermouth last once opened and how should it be stored?

Being a fortified wine (18% Vol.), it has greater resistance than a still wine. Once opened, it is recommended to keep it tightly capped in the refrigerator to preserve its fresh botanical aromas; it is advised to consume it within the next 2 to 3 months.
