POLI DISTILLERIE
ARZENTE ITALIAN BRANDY

SCHIAVON • VENETO • WINE DISTILLATE WITH 10 YEARS OF AGING

"The nobility of time in Veneto. A purely dry, complex, and majestic wine spirit, patiently aged in oak for the world's most discerning palates."

🇮🇹 ORIGIN: SCHIAVON, VENETO, ITALY | 🍷 STYLE: AGED, DRY, WOODY & SPICY BRANDY | 🏷️ WINERY: POLI DISTILLERIE

Steam Still Distillation, Allier Oak, and the Liquid Heritage of 'Arzente'

Poli Brandy (Arzente) represents the pinnacle of wine distillation in northern Italy. Crafted with absolute devotion by the legendary Poli Distillerie family, this super-premium spirit has its specific origin in the commune of Schiavon, within the historic Veneto region, Italy. It is organoleptically defined and classified as a purely dry distillate, obtained from the careful artisanal distillation of local noble white wines using a discontinuous steam still. Aged with infinite patience for over a decade in French oak barrels, the distillate transmutes its initial strength into a subtle architecture of spicy, toasted, and woody aromas, delivering a deep, sober, and aristocratic tasting experience.

Spicy flavors of cinnamon and clove intertwine with the toasted wood. The finish is extraordinarily long, dry, warm, and of an imperial aromatic elegance.

It harmonizes exquisitely with dark chocolates of great purity (80% cocoa or more), baked desserts with dried fruits, dates, ripe figs, and fine coffee-based pastries. For lovers of savory contrasts, it is outstanding when accompanied by a long-aged Parmigiano Reggiano cheese or complex blue cheeses. Excellent to escort a premium cigar after dinner.

frequently asked questions (FAQs)

What is the specific origin and winery of this distillate?

This sumptuous aged brandy is meticulously handcrafted by the renowned Poli Distillerie. Its specific origin is strictly located in Schiavon, province of Vicenza, in the Veneto region, Italy.

Is this distillate dry, semi-dry, or sweet?

Poli Brandy (Arzente) is a purely dry distillate. Following the style of great traditional aged spirits, it has no added sugars, so all its subtle sensation of warmth and sweetness comes purely from the grape and the natural caramelization of the French wood during its decade of aging.

Why is the term 'Arzente' used on the bottle?

'Arzente' is an archaic Italian term that the celebrated Italian poet and writer Gabriele D'Annunzio revived in the early 20th century to name the national brandy, deriving it from 'acqua ardente' (burning water), giving it a distinctly patriotic and cultural character.

Should the glass be warmed before serving this brandy?

It is not recommended to use fire or artificial heaters, as this aggressively evaporates the more volatile alcohols and ruins the delicate aromas. The best way to enjoy it is to serve it at room temperature (16°C-18°C) and allow the natural warmth of your hand to gently warm the balloon glass.
