ALOUF ARAK
PREMIUM DISTILLATE
GALILEE DISTILLERS • PURE ANISE • ISRAEL
"The spirit of the Levant: an ancestral pure distillate that transforms water into legend."
The Heritage of Galilee
Alouf Arak is much more than a liquor; it is the gold standard of anise distillates in the Middle East. Crafted by Galilee Distillers using methods passed down through generations, it is produced from the distillation of selected white grapes and the finest quality anise seeds. Its triple distillation process removes impurities, leaving a crystal-clear and invigorating spirit. Known for its perfect balance between the natural sweetness of anise and the potency of alcohol, Alouf is the preferred choice for those seeking authenticity and freshness in a distilled spirit.

4. Pairing and Recommendations
Gastronomy: Arak is the essential companion to Mediterranean "Mezze." It pairs exceptionally well with hummus, falafel, tabouleh, and fried fish. Its ability to cleanse the palate makes it ideal for spicy or olive oil-rich dishes.
Serving Ritual: Use small glasses. Pour one measure of Alouf Arak, add two measures of very cold water (this is where the magic of the color change happens), and finish with ice cubes. It is a perfect aperitif, but also a traditional digestif.
frequently asked questions (FAQS)
Is it the same as Ouzo or Pastis?
They are relatives, but not the same. Alouf Arak is distilled from grapes and pure anise without added sugars or other botanicals, giving it a drier and more potent profile than French Pastis or Italian Sambuca.
Why shouldn't ice be added first?
If ice touches pure Arak, the anise oils can crystallize unpleasantly on the surface. Water must "prepare" the way before cooling the mixture.
Does this distillate expire?
No. Due to its high alcohol content, Alouf Arak can be stored indefinitely in a cool, dark place, maintaining its potency and flavor intact.
