The Craftsmanship of Savage & Cooke

American Whiskey Second Glance is a creation by the visionary Dave Phinney at his Mare Island distillery. Made with a predominant base of corn and pure spring water, this whiskey stands out for its unique finishing process in Cabernet Sauvignon red wine barrels from Napa Valley. This masterful touch adds an aromatic and structural dimension that distinguishes it, living up to its name: a spirit that deserves a second glance.

Tasting Notes 

  • Appearance: Bright golden amber with luminous reflections.
  • Nose: Notes of molasses, vanilla, and soft spices, with fruity undertones of prunes and ripe red berries.
  • Palate: Extremely smooth entry. Layers of caramel and honey mix with nutmeg, culminating in a clean and lingering finish.

Serving and Versatility

SECOND GLANCE WHISKEY - THE WINEMAKER'S ART IN SPIRIT FORM

1. Return Period

Product returns are accepted up to seven (7) calendar days from the date the order is received by the customer.

2. Product Condition

For a return to be approved, the product must meet the following mandatory conditions:

  • Sealed Bottles: All wine bottles must remain closed, intact, and in their original state.
  • Original Packaging: The outer packaging (box, packaging) and security labels or seals, if any, must be complete and unopened.
  • Exclusion: No returns will be accepted for any bottle that has been opened or whose security seal has been broken.

3. Return Process
  1. The customer must notify their intention to return the order within the 7-day period by contacting our customer service department.
  2. Once the request is verified, instructions for shipping the products will be provided.
  3. Upon receipt and physical inspection of the products to confirm they meet Condition 2, a full refund of the wine's cost will be processed.
