La Mimbrera Coupage
DOCa Rioja | Single Vineyard Red Wine 750ml
"The perfect synergy of an exceptional site: depth, mineral freshness, and an elegance that redefines the concept of 'terroir wine' in Rioja Alta."
Estate Blend: Harmony in Ábalos
La Mimbrera Coupage is the most complex interpretation of one of Bodegas Exopto's most prized single vineyards. In this wine, the electric intensity of Graciano merges with the aromatic silkiness of Garnacha and the noble structure of Tempranillo. The result is a wine with soul and a story, capturing the purity of the deep clay-limestone soil and the Atlantic-influenced climate characteristic of Ábalos.

2. Sommelier's Notes
Appearance: Intense garnet red with violet hues at the rim. Presents a medium-high, clean, and very bright layer.
Nose: Ripe blueberries and blackberries in the foreground, intertwined with floral notes of violets, freshly ground black pepper, and an unmistakable chalky minerality in the background.
Palate: Powerful yet refined. Balance is the main protagonist: the vertical freshness of Graciano masterfully compensates for the warmth of Garnacha. It has firm but polished tannins and a persistent spicy finish.
