PSAGOT
PRAT

HARMONY • BLEND • JUDEAN HILLS

"The harmony of the blend: a wine that balances the power of Cabernet with the softness of Merlot, grown on the mystical terraces of the Jerusalem mountains."

The Art of Blending in Judea

Psagot Prat is a testament to balance. Inspired by the great Bordeaux blends, but with the warm, mineral soul of Israel's limestone soils. The grapes grow at an altitude of 900 meters, benefiting from a thermal oscillation that sets the color and concentrates the sugars without losing freshness. As a Non-Mevushal wine, Psagot Prat is presented in its purest form, faithfully capturing the character of the terroir in each vintage.

1. Identity Profile

Winery: Psagot Winery

Origin: Jerusalem Mountains (Judean Hills), Israel.

Varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc.

Aging: 10 to 12 months in new and second-use French oak barrels.

Certification: Kosher for Passover, Non-Mevushal.

Alcohol: 14.5% Alc. Vol. | Presentation: 750 ml

2. Sommelier's Notes

Appearance: Deep ruby red with intense garnet highlights. Clean appearance and a viscosity that anticipates its generous body.

Nose: Complex and layered bouquet. Notes of black fruits such as cassis and ripe plum, followed by an evolution towards sweet spices, cocoa, tobacco, and an earthy mineral touch characteristic of Jerusalem limestone.

Palate: Structured and firm entry. Evolves into a silky texture where tannins are present but magnificently polished. Vibrant acidity that sustains the long finish of noble wood and concentrated fruit.

4. Pairing and Recommendation

Cuts and Roasts: Ideal to accompany grilled cuts such as New York, Picanha with a spice crust, or a rack of lamb.

Cultural Encounter: Its structure supports the complexity of a Poblano Mole Negro or short rib tacos in a dried chili reduction.

Artisan Cheeses: Pairs superbly with aged Manchego, aged Gouda, or long-aged sheep's milk cheeses.

Service: Enjoy at 17°C - 18°C. It is recommended to **decant for 20-30 minutes** before serving to release its bouquet.
