CHIANTI CLASSICO 2021 MAGNUM

1.5 LITERS • COLLECTOR'S FORMAT • TUSCANY

"Double the volume, double the pleasure: the sophistication of Isole e Olena in its most imposing and enduring format."

🇮🇹 ORIGIN: SAN DONATO IN POGGIO, ITALY | 🍇 GRAPE: SANGIOVESE NOBILE | 🏺 WINERY: ISOLE E OLENA

The Grandeur of Tuscany

The Chianti Classico Magnum 2021 from Isole e Olena is much more than a larger bottle; it's a statement of intent. Paolo De Marchi has consolidated this winery as the benchmark for finesse in Chianti. In this 1.5L format, the freshness of sour cherry, the vibrant acidity of the galestro soil, and the delicacy of its tannins are preserved with astonishing integrity, making it a wine that is not just drunk, but celebrated.

frequently asked questions (FAQS)

Is it necessary to decant a Magnum bottle?

Yes, it is highly recommended. Due to its volume and aging potential, decanting it about 45-60 minutes beforehand helps the wine to oxygenate and reveal its full aromatic palette.

How long can I store this bottle?

The 2021 vintage in Magnum format has an extraordinary consumption window, and can evolve magnificently in cellar conditions for the next 15 to 20 years.

What is the difference between this and the standard Chianti?

The liquid is the same, but the Magnum format slows down the micro-oxygenation process, resulting in a more complex, harmonious wine with more lasting freshness than the 750ml bottle.
