Firmamento Blanco 2022 is the definition of balance in the Douro. Crafted by winemaker Constantino Ramos, this wine seeks aromatic purity and a refreshing tension. By combining indigenous Portuguese grape varieties, Firmamento offers a vibrant profile that does not sacrifice structure, thanks to careful lees aging and partial fermentation in used wood, which imparts a silky and sophisticated texture.

Country: Portugal.
Region: Douro (D.O.C. Douro).
Composition: Arinto, Viosinho and Gouveio.
Vinification: 80% in stainless steel, 20% in used 500L French barrels.
Lees aging: 3 months of bâtonnage to add softness.
Alcohol: 12.5% vol.

Appearance: Bright and clean color, with straw reflections, very attractive and crystalline.
Nose: A burst of citrus grapefruit, lemon, and mandarin. A very pronounced minerality (wet stone) and light notes of pineapple are perceived.
Palate: Vibrant and energetic entry. The acidity is perfectly integrated. The finish is elegant, clean, and persistent.
